Miles Bar can be found on the harbour at Ramsgate and sports sophisticated leather sofas and chairs along with modern artwork and laid back music.
Miles is perfect for a relaxed lunch looking over the harbour with inside and outside seating, idea to catch up with friends, with a well stocked bar it is perfect for turning a catch up lunch into an evening with some great wine!
Dont be fooled by the "mini" platter, there is nothing mini about it!
Ask for the chunky chips with mayo, they are simply devine!
Not wildly expensive but also not a cheap lunch, be prepared to part with a tenner if you are going for lunch,
to treat yourslef have a hot chocolate, say yes to "marshmellows and cream?"

Parking is tricky in Ramsgate, parking up the hill might be the better option. Table seemed sicky but staff were absolutely lovely
Thai Four Two
I love this restaurant, it is great for me living just around the corner but there is ample parking space near by.
Food here is absolutely delicious and the decor is quirky and cosy.
With a wide range of dishes on the menu it suits everyones budget, a quick snack or a belly busting feast.
I recommend the thai fish cakes, the best I have ever had!
You cannot purchases alcohol on the premises but are invited to bring your own (with a small fee).
Always advisable to book in advance if you want a table, as I have often been turned away when the restaurant is full.
My rating 7/10
Good for couples and small groups.

The Indian Princess
As the name suggests, an Indian restaurant. The Indian Princess in Margate is a real gem. Each and every dish I have had there has been truly delicious. The restaurant is proud that it uses fresh local produce and the standard to which it is prepared is fantastic. The staff are delightful and attentive and I leave feeling truly valued as a customer. The Indian Princess sends vouchers to it's customers and has regular events which provide a genuinely unforgettable evening. The menu is varied and often boasts interesting and exotic dishes, unfortunately these are often sold out. The high prices reflect the quality of the food and the diners you would expect to find there. The restaurant has limited parking for the size of the restaurant but is a short walk from the taxi office.

BeBeached
A lovely cafe on Margate Harbour arm, with such a spectacular view of Margate seafront this cafe gets top marks from me for it's location. At the somewhat trendy end of Margate BeBeached serves a range of hot and cold drinks as well as a range of appetising meals and snacks. With both indoor and outdoor seating it makes that most of the space. BeBeached is charming and perfect for a hot drink on a cold day
Drawbacks: Fairly pricey and doesn't take card payments under £15, a pain being that it is so far from a cash point
